Peak District Shakedown Tour 2024

The Peak District National Park is a world of contrasting natural beauty, with moors, dales, rivers, springs and caverns, and at its heart the Peak District National Park, known for its breath-taking landscapes, relaxation, inspiration and adventure. The five day tour invites you to enjoy two runs, private openings of both the Eyam Plague Museum and Heage Windmill, a visit to Chatsworth House & Gardens as well as a private concert from Pipes in the Peaks, you won’t want to miss it!

Eyam Plague Museum will tell you the story of the plague, including the history of the village before and after the plague.

​

Chatsworth House & Gardens is home to the Devonshire family and has been passed down through 16 generations. There are over 25 rooms and 105 acres of garden to explore at leisure.

​

Heage Windmill was built in 1797 and restored in 2002, is the only working six-sailed stone tower windmill in England. It is set in the Derbyshire countryside, providing spectacular views towards the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

Pipes in the Peaks is a concert you have never seen before! A hidden gem in the Derbyshire countryside displaying beautifully maintained classic cars and the whole organ music system of the former Rega/ABC Derby cinema in its splendid new setting!
