Garden of England Tour
1 - 5 September 2027
Enjoy the quiet back lanes of South East England, with highlights such as Chatham Dockyard, Whitstable Oysters, Chapel Down Winery and Leeds Castle to name a few. Often overlooked, we think four nights in the ‘Garden of England’ in a classic car, is a real winner. Think Darling Buds of May and Oast Houses, what could be better than trundling along the country lanes with fellow enthusiasts.

Itinerary
Wednesday 1st September
Join the group at the four-star Chilston Park Hotel, once home to prominent politicians, writers, lords and viscounts, so good enough for us. This 17th century manor is set amongst quiet countryside, in the heart of Kent, so perfect to tour from and explore. We dine in the 2 AA Rosette restaurant this evening, after welcome drinks and a briefing from your tour manager.
Thursday 2nd September
After a hearty breakfast, our run today takes us to Chatham Dockyard for a visit and refreshments. We then enjoy a pre-arranged lunch, followed by an afternoon route planned via the Isle of Sheppey, where Raptors soar. This evening, we enjoy a special three-course dinner with wine paired by a local vineyard.
Friday 3rd September
Today, we continue with our North coast run as we head to Whitstable for a coffee stop followed by a guided tour of an Oyster Farm. Afterwards, we enjoy free time in the ancient coastal town of Whitstable for lunch. This afternoon, we have a country run planned via Faversham for a brewery visit, before returning to the hotel for ‘garden to plate’ themed dinner.
Saturday 4th September
Our route today takes us to the South Kent coast via a special stop for coffee. We then carry on to the historic town of Rye, for free time for lunch. This afternoon, we head to award-winning Chapel Down Winery for a visit and tasting. This evening, we can look forward to a farewell champagne reception followed by dinner.
Sunday 5th September
After one last hearty cooked breakfast, check out at your leisure and continue your onward journey.
