Tour Diaries

Our Italian Lakes tour blended scenic drives, historic hotels, and well-planned routes across Garda, Idro, Como, Lugano, and Maggiore. Despite some weather and mechanical hiccups, the organisation, hospitality, and use of a car transporter made the trip smooth and enjoyable. A superb way to experience the lakes with classic cars.

In mid-May, we set off for our Normandy tour, crossing the Channel via Le Shuttle before driving the scenic Opale Coast. Our base, La Ferme de la Ranconniere in Crepon, was steeped in WWII history and charm, its rose-filled courtyards the perfect retreat. Highlights included visits to the British Memorial, Arromanches, Pegasus Bridge, and Honfleur—each filled with history, sunshine, and great food. A week of camaraderie, culture, and French hospitality we can’t wait to repeat
