Itinerary
Sunday 2nd May
Check in at the fabulous Hintlesham Hall hotel for time to relax amongst its historic buildings and 12 acres of gardens. That evening, we will welcome you with our traditional briefing with drinks, followed by dinner.
Monday 3rd May
Today we embark on the ‘village run’ to discover the real Suffolk countryside and regroup at a coffee stop at a traditional pub. The route then continues on beautiful backroads via picturesque villages such as ancient Lavenham. You will be spoilt for choice with many potential lunch stops. Dinner will be taken together at the hotel this evening.
Tuesday 4th May
Today is the ‘coastal run’ as we head out to Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Southwold via Sutton Hoo for a visit and coffee stop. There are suggested stops and points of interest along the way before winding back to the hotel. Before dinner with the rest of the group, your tour manager will brief you on the following day’s run.
Wednesday 5th May
Today, it is the ‘Constable run’ which stops at Flatford Mill for a visit and coffee. The scenic tour takes you to Dedham where we have included a light lunch. Again, more suggested stops are available along the way. This evening, we have dinner in our private dining room at the hotel.
Thursday 6th May
After one last sumptuous breakfast, check out and continue your onward journey.
