Every route has been carefully planned so that every stop on the way will have been selected to maximise your motoring pleasure. We provide clear and easy-to-follow instructions allowing navigators to enjoy the day as much as the drivers.
Our comprehensive tour book ensures that you will not miss out on places of scenic or historical interest. as you will pass Hidcote Gardens, National trust Snowhill Manor, Cotswold farm park famous for Adam Haynes since Countryfile, Burton on the waters motoring museum and model village and with and Hathaway’s cottage small diversion off the run.
This run has an optional photo observational competition.
Also a visit to the magnificent Blenheim Palace for tour and lunch plus visit to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon which holds the World’s largest collection of historic British cars. We visit some of the prettiest areas on our Cotswolds Villages Run. Then the route between the hotels we are having lunch at the Michelin starred Whatley Manor in Malmsbury. Then on to the New Forest where we will be driving on scenic side lanes in the New Forest, out to Stockbridge with lunch by the river Test and visiting Dorset and Wiltshire villages with coffee and lunch stops. We have four ‘tulip runs’ dinner and breakfast every day and three light lunches at character locations.
Stratford upon Avon: – The Welcome Hallmark Hotel
The Welcombe is a luxury calendar country house hotel built in neon-Jacobean style, perfectly located within walking distance of Stratford-upon-Avon within a scenic 157-acre estate. It’s a calendar house because it has 7 entrances, 12 fireplaces, 52 chimneys and 365 windows, and close to William Shakespeare’s birthplace.
New Forest: Brockenhurst – Forest Park Hotel
English Country Hotel located at the heart of the New Forest National Park, the hotel is a perfect location to discover the Forest, and the famous Rhinefield ornamental drive on the doorstep. Just a short drive is Beaulieu, walks in the New Forest start from outside the hotel and ponies and deer roam freely through the hotel grounds. Two miles down the road is the pretty village of Brockenhurst.
We have of total of four runs two each at both locations.
Cotswolds Villages Run: This run takes to some of the scenic villages in the area such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, The Slaughter’s.
Blenheim Gaydon Run: The run takes us first via a country route to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon and then unto Blenheim Palace for lunch in Orangery Restaurant.
Three Counties Run: Starting with a very scenic route through the New Forest, we take the ‘Backwater’ route to three counties, Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire. A coffee stop at the Rushmore Golf Club, Tollard Royal. Then a circular route back to the hotel via Burley.
Test Run: We meander through the New Forest then to a coffee stop at the Mill Arms then via Mottisfont House NT then off to Stockbridge and with lunch at the Mayfair very picturesque inn on the river test.
Hotel to Hotel: lunch at Whatley Manor – Malmesbury
We are having a light lunch at this 18th-century manor with 12 acres of gardens.
