Cornwall at Pentillie Castle 2024

We call this our Backwater “House Party” Tour – it’s our most popular tour in fact, perhaps because of its unique concept. We’ve booked, as always, all the bedrooms at Pentillie Castle so we will have exclusive use for the duration of our tour.

Pentillie Castle is quite simply one of the most relaxing places you will ever stay. It has also been used as a location for the TV production of ‘Delicious’ starring Dawn French and Emilia Fox.

We will have three runs; across Dartmoor, to the Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and to the North Cornwall coast.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan has a network of magical gardens, woodland walks and farmland brimming with interest and intrigue; Lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WWI, this Sleeping Beauty was re-awakened in 1990 to become Europe’s largest garden restoration project. Today Heligan’s 200 acres are a paradise for the explorer, wildlife, plant lover and garden romantic.

The Eden Project allows you to explore massive, covered Biomes to trek through the world’s largest indoor rainforest and immerse yourself in the calm fragrance of the Mediterranean Biome.
