Mercedes Benz Club Belgian Classic Tour

3 - 8 October 2027

Discover Wallonia & the Ardennes

Join fellow Mercedes-Benz Club members on an exclusive five-night tour of Belgium. You will be accompanied by an experienced tour manager as you tour the southern region of Belgium. The first two nights of the tour are spent in the delightful town of Spa, recognised for its incredible natural spa baths. Our elegant four-star hotel is connected to the spa baths and is ideally located close to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The tour then heads west for three nights in the centre of the region, allowing access to a plethora of interesting locations, such as Dinant, Chimay & Durbuy to name a few.

The Wallonia region is a real favourite of ours. Famous for its gastronomy, chocolatiers, iconic WWII sites, beer and frites. This region of Belgium is full of stunning scenery and excellent roads that meander via forests, alongside rivers and through beautiful towns. Made all the more enjoyable to explore from the comfort of your treasured Mercedes.

Itinerary

DAY 1

The tour starts in Dover with a morning crossing with P&O to Calais. Your detailed roadbook will take you on the direct route to the centre of Spa for a mid-afternoon arrival at the Van der Valk hotel. You have time to relax this afternoon, before an early evening transfer by bus to be taken to the Stavelot Abbaye, a fascinating site, that happens to be the home of an amazing car collection. Here you will have time for a visit of the various exhibits, followed by a drinks reception and dinner in this historic location. Following this special dinner you will be returned by bus to the hotel.

DAY 2

Today we have the insightful ‘behind the scenes’ experience at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit giving you unparalleled access to key areas including the Race Control Room. Following this, we take to the famous track in our cars for a few thrilling circuit laps! Afterwards, we can compare our drives over lunch at this iconic race centre. This afternoon, you can choose to follow the supplied routes to the Royal Tiger Tank and Museum in La Gleize. Alternatively, you can return to the hotel to relax or visit the thermal spa, via the direct access from the hotel. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

DAY 3

Today we check out of the Spa hotel to head out for a stunning drive on superb roads to the pretty town of Durbuy for a coffee stop. The route continues across country to a fascinating war museum for a guided visit. Your hotel for the next three nights is just a short distance away in Marche en Famenne. Hotel facilities include underground parking for our cars, a large terrace with relaxing seating, spa facilities and an excellent restaurant. Dinner is included this evening.

DAY 4

It is a short drive today to the town of Dinant and we have arranged a visit of a private chateau, where we can display our cars whilst we are given a guided visit and refreshments. From here, you can use the tickets we provide to the magnificent Citadelle towering over Dinant and the Meuse Valley and offering fabulous views. There is also time to visit the many sites in the area before returning to the hotel for time to relax and dinner.

DAY 5

After breakfast we head south to a fascinating war monument hidden away on the border with France. After a poignant visit, we have coffee and drive the short distance to Chimay to learn about the famous Trappist beer as well as the road racing circuit that is still used today. We can even drive a lap! Lunch is included in a special location today. This evening we have a farewell dinner planned.

DAY 6

After breakfast today, we have one more stop planned in for you to break the journey. This is a visit to a stunning car collection, tucked away in the back streets of Belgium for coffee and a visit. You can then return to Calais for the P&O crossing of your choice.
